Friday, March 03, 2006 ::: BOX House is a mess. My desk emptied, almost, gone are my text books, collectables, and rubbish - into the piles of boxes. Never realized a constant environment is that important to me, especially right now when I'm seriously in need of a familiar setting to focus on my coming exams. You bet i'm having fears that my temporary house will be a mess, and I won't be able to find what I want etc etc. What if I can't find the book I want that's lost in the sea of boxes and won't surface until a couple of months later? shudder. The last thing I need right now is some added insecurity. Some time ago Popjustice raved about this band called Lorraine, the new band from Norway. I didn't actually give it any attention. Partly because the music wasn't accessible at that time. But now they're finally signing a proper record deal, and has a rather decent website and myspace site - the popular outlet for music previews before albums hit shelves you know. And you bet this band is brilliant if Mr PJ loves it so much. Think Pet Shop Boys. But with more normal vocals. Think Depeche Mode. Perhaps not as dark. The new New Order maybe? I have a feeling that they could be better. And their songs? Absolutely amazing. Sample of a few of their tracks here. I Feel It is going to be their debut single. Not bad, bad thing is remix actually sounds better. But my favorite is Transatlantic Flight. There's this greatness in that song that I can't explain.
